I've been getting phantom calls randomly over the past few weeks. The radio turns off and the bluetooth phone screen shows up (paired with my iPhone 5, iOS 7) and says "Private Caller." There is no incoming or outgoing call when this happens, nothing going on with the phone. It is either in my pocket or the cupholder. I've tried deleting contacts/unpairing the phone and re-pair/transfer, no luck. Anyone ever see this happen? Dealer tried updating firmware (but it was current), and they suggested unpair/repair the phone.

 

are you using siri? I know when I use siri that happens...

 

I have also had this happen. I double checked my iphone 5 alert/notification settings for text, e-mail and calendar and could not find any correlation. I just assume my car came with some electronic gremlin options.

 

Siri comes up as "mobile assistant" for me (its a 2014). There is no activity on the phone (calls, siri, texts, etc.) while the phantom call is up on the screen.

My dealer said they put in a TAS case (sounded like lexus tech support), so I'll let you know if I hear anything. You notice anything different on your end that may help troubleshooting?
