Debating if it's worth it to put headers on my 2019 GS-F. How many of you have headers without a check engine light? Not willing to swap in an older ecu and loose the active dampening that I read about. Hell, I'm deciding if paying $2k+ for headers is worth 25hp either way.

 

I have PPE Headers and DM Exhaust on my LC without a tune. The RRRacing crank Damper is in transit to me. IMHO, yes - I can feel the difference in the seat of my pants. I have no CEL with 02 extenders.

 

Did the extenders come with the headers? Or did you order some separately? If so where from?

 

I have an EL PPE headers on my 2018 GSF without a tune.

 

PPE provide the extenders with their headers.

 

Was the juice worth the squeeze?

 

Headers are worth it, you don't need a tune either.

Had headers installed in august (PPE UEL with an apexi resonated midpipe with GESI cats and Tom's SS axleback) and it is 100% worth it. No tune, and I don't see myself tuning anytime soon. As for CEL's, you'll need extenders (PM me for where I found some, mine did not include extenders).

Have put about 3000 miles since install and have enjoyed every moment of it, truly makes this car a beast, and the perfect daily.

 

It's a great mod and if your local I have no problem helping.

 

Where in CA are you located? I have a shop and full 2 post lift in the back for such occasions lol.
