Default TOMS front member brace

Just a heads up for anyone who's considering this piece. The fitment is super tight on passenger side. A credit card can just barely squeeze between brace and exhaust. I've heard it fits w most and doesn't w some.

Make sure you put the factory bracing back on.

Is that not supposed to ( replace ) the factory bracing?

This goes over or on top of the factory bracing?

Appreciate your input here. BTW..... after test drive it was slightly making contact and the NVH thru the chassis was just too much. Already removed and OE bracing is back on 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️. You can c the spot it was rubbing in pic

Hi,

It appears that it is installed in the wrong place. The brace uses the fasteners directly above where you installed it or more toward the front of the car. If you install it there, that will correct your clearance issue. The area where the brace is swept forward should also be facing the front. I'll see if I can add the picture from the installation instructions that show this.

The brace goes on the upper part of the chassis. Steve

Omg!....Thank you for that. A buddy w a built RCF has ARK headers and had zero clearance so I picked it up from him and didn't have that instruction page. Seemed straight forward but that clearly explains it! Appreciate ya.
