PPF is it worth it? I have been going back and forth debating is it worth it or not? For $2300 for the front fenders hood and the bumper with a 10 year warranty . If you stay smart when you follow trucks and not get too close. I think you could limit how much damage you get. Now if you track the car that would be something different. But being a daily driver just enjoy your car and not stress about it. How many have there cars PPF? Or you just drive it ?
thanks

PPF is definitely worth it on these cars. It actually adds value if you ever plan to sell it in the future because most people don't want a car with rock chips all over the front, especially the carbon piece on the center. That part is a pain to refinish as you have to take the whole front of the car apart to get to it. A new one is also $8,000 from Lexus. It's money well spent.

Completely worth it. I have put about 10k miles on my car since getting it fully PPF'd, and there is not a single chip anywhere and looks new still.

One of the nicest parts in addition to that is the complete lack of swirl marks on the car.

Red face PPF and what I have done in my first 800 miles

Thanks for all the replies, I'm going with PPF next week per your advice. I already did ceramic coating. I will have to take that coating off, but installer said he will re coat that area for $150.00. When I was getting oil change done today, I saw three IS 500 getting serviced which was great! One had PPF one didn't there was a lot of damage from the roads that basically sold me on getting PPF.
RR Racing bearings
Axle back (remark) To my wife and I perfect sound.
Ceramic coating
PPF (Soon) Lol
First oil change 800 miles
All under 800 miles Crazy how we love them!

Just reading through this thread, I too have performed full Xpel on the front bumper, full fenders and full hood. Just recently did full front windshield (ppf) and full tint including windshield and sunroof xpel tint. what a difference. more enjoyable to drive the F and not worry about the damage/road rash.
