I live in Utah and I have emissions coming up. Does anyone know if this pipe will pass emissions? Or will I need to go back to stock.? Thanks.

 

How do they do test in your state? Are they putting a sensor into exhaust? - if they are just putting using your Odb the plug under your driver area to get reading I think you should be ok.
I never had a issue passing emissions with my cat back with my older Gs.

 

Exactly what UZ said. If they use a sniffer, you may be in trouble since it removes the secondary cats. If they use a mirror to make sure your cats are there, you should be ok since the primary are there. If they plug into OBD2 port, you should also be OK.

The primary cats will take care of the sniffer test. If the primary cats are good, you wont fail the sniffer. As far as how Utah inspects, the web does not offer any specifics. It only tells who is required, which counties and how much.

I guess Ill find out when Im due in 2024, Ive got the gt haus x pipe and the GTC exhaust on my GSF.

 

I am in the same boat, hopefully by that time I will have header and possible RR super charger.

 

Thanks for the responses. Took it today it was plug. Passed and the test recognized the first set of cats.
