Cold start sound
Hi there !
After 1 year looking sales, I finally found my F. Pretty rare on sale, here in France. Maybe the extra 10000€ tax when bought new.
Amazing car, but little question : on a cold start (typically the morning, actually 8°C/45°F ), i hear a "second burp" when i start the car, like we can hear here (not my F, but it's the same thing) :
When she's warm (10 minutes after a drive) it's not here.
Is it the same on yours ?

I think you heard the unburnt gases (containing fuel) “exploding” in the exhaust system. I have unmuffled exhaust, when I cold start mine it’s a very loud boom. It’s normal, nothing to worry about..
