Default Interior ticking noise front left speaker area

Hey everyone, I’ve been having a ticking noise coming from the left front speaker area. I’ve placed dynomat type sound insulation all up in the area and the sound persists. Looks like from factory they placed felt around most places, but I still have the noise even through my efforts. Happens when there is a break in the road, Anyone else have this noise????

Just a check since it's in the same general area - the driver's door interior lock switch makes a noise over uneven payment; it's subtle but noticeable. I can (temporarily) silence it by fiddling with the switch.

Good luck,
Eric

thanks for the reply, mine is definitely from the front left under the speaker cover. I’m at my wits end trying to stuff whatever it is I can to silence the noise. I’ll probably just tell the dealer about it.

I have heard it on and off. Please let me know what the dealer says!

I took it to the dealer, and the mechanic actually rode with me and he heard it! They said it got fixed. When I got the car back I thought the noise was gone. But it came back smh. I’ve been trying to solve the problem myself with no success. Its really infuriating, and almost makes me want to get rid of it, but other than ticking noise I absolutely love the car.

**update** bought a new LH A-pillar, put it in and solved 90% of my problem. Doesn’t make sense because I had the pillar completely off and it made the ticking sound. Good for anyone experiencing this down the line...carry on
