Anyone know if there is a cheaper option for just replacing the rubber blades? I searched on ebay but get too many varying results. My guess is most of these products are just one length and you have to cut them to match your desired fit.

I ran OEM wipers for years but Toyota seems to have switched to a cheaper refill don't think they are silicone anymore. I switched to PIAA silicone make in Japan these things are awesome and they sell refills as well.

The rubber alone from Lexus is 85214-0E130 for the right and 85214-02340 for the left. Both are $8ish from Internet Lexus parts sellers.

I hardly ever use them though. I use Aquapel instead, and leave the wipers off most of the time. Has to be pouring down for me to turn on the wipers. I hate driving rental cars in the rain because I have to use the wipers and they're not even close to as good as Aquapel. It lasts a ridiculously long time. I treat my glass once a year with it.

Dang Lance, you beat me again for I thought I was the only one who used Aquapel (have been for years)...

I think I started Aquapel with my '06 IS350 after being disappointed with Rain-X. I used Rain-X since 1988, and converted in 2007 or so. Never looked back because it really is a lot better.

I just orders some aquapel, I had no idea about this. Rainx is horrible now and makes the wipers noisy.

That's part of what made me leave. The other part is, Aquapel lasts a very long time, and never goes away completely. Rain-X does die completely in about 6 months.

Never heard of Aquapel until today. This is the correct Aquapel, right: https://www.walmart.com/ip/Three-3-A...dfbdb634fe1a11

Yes, that's the stuff. The GS F comes from the factory with a hydrophobic coating, so it isn't necessary to do this immediately, but after a year or so, it will definitely bring back the water shedding power to the glass.

Does the Aquapel have any adverse interactions with Rain-X washer fluid that you know of? I usually use the orange stuff.

No idea. I never use anything Rain-X anymore, but the car wash I use claims they do a Rain-X spray. I have serious doubts about the efficacy of any Rain-X applied this way. I can say with certainty, the Rain-X from the car wash does not have any adverse reaction with Aquapel.
