I just pulled a 2017 vin on the lexus spec website and it says "All Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise control" under the specs. So did the 2017's come with it or not? 2017's brochure says high speed and 2018's says all speed. So weird.

My 2016 has this option, I literally drive it from work to home on auto pilot.

I set the cruise speed, and the car will slow down and accelerate keeping the distance between itself and the object in front. I also have the lane departure and guidance system on so I basically don't even touch the wheel.
My 2016 GS F's lane departure system is 100% crap, it barely does anything even with it set to the highest sensitivity. How are you able to drive without touching the wheel?

Lexus is so behind in technology, it's so frustrating. For being Japanese (where a lot of great tech is developed), it is astonishing. Their quality is carrying them a long way but they need to improve quickly on the technology front if they want to stay towards the top.

thats correct. I was at LPDS a few years back and asked the master tech there if my 16 GSF could be upgraded with a parts swap and after some thought he said it wasn’t possible/practical as too man parts changed and the computers would need to be reprogrammed by Lexus for a configuration they don’t support.

I still have hope someone proves him wrong.

I despise most driver aids. They're for the lazy or those who want to text holding their phones while driving. When I am driving, I am focused on the car, not my phone.

Sometimes I just like to take a nap on the way home.
