Default Cat delete

Good day everyone , curious if anyone has done just a cat delete on their GSF . If so , can you post a clip of how it sounds as well give some feed back to what your opinion is . Thank you

There are four catalytic converters on your GSF. Two are integral with the exhaust manifolds and two are fitted to the front end of the exhaust pipes. The first two have before and after sensors. Therefore removal of those cats would cause a CEL. The second set has no sensors.

What’s up Lou , Yeah I figured this car would have 4 , 2 main ones with 02’s ... , I wouldn’t touch the first set on the exhaust manifold, unless I upgrade the headers ex .... but just deleting the second set without the the O2 sensors was what I’m curious about .. would you happen to know if the second set have flanges before and after . I’m assuming that would be the mid pipe.? I really don’t want to cut and weld .. but have the ability to bolt on and off ..

^^^^A bolt on solution would only be available with new mid pipes.

That thread has a pict of the stock mid pipes so you can see whats involved.





PPE should be able to fix you up also.
