Sunroof shattered

Was driving on the highway and suddenly hear a loud pop sounded like a shotgun, pulled over notice my sunroof shattered. Called one of the Lexus dealership and the advisor says it's not under warranty. Anyone else ever had this issue?

I see this a lot at our dealership. Equalizing pressure fluctuates and causes this. Lexus needs to step up and make things right

Consumer Reports did an in depth report on exploding sunroofs maybe a year ago. Might be worth trying to find.

Thats just uncalled for if you ask me.. I'm sure they'll be a class action lawsuit eventually. I used to own a hyundai Genesis and i got a notice in the mail about a class action lawsuit about the pano roof cracking.. I'm sure its just a matter of time for Lexus.. They should cover it on a 70k car IMO.
