Only way that I wouldn't buy another GS-F is if the below actually comes true some day...haha
I love the simplicity of the GS-F. Get in and drive. I test drove a 2014 M5 prior to getting my car and there is just too much going on with suspension setting, performance settings, steering wheel feel, etc.
Man you and me both, I was hoping it was but I don't think this year maybe 2 years from now, this may come out.
Without a single doubt in my mind I would buy again; It has been my dream car since it was first announced and it has exceeded every expectation. I honestly never seen one in person until I went to a dealership to try and lock in a deal on a left over demo (just about 6 months ago), couple of weeks later I ended up finding mine.
I will admit though that I would not buy any year other than a 16 due to the standard suspension, I am not a fan of the variable suspension even though it is easily remedied with a coilover swap.
The only other lexus calling out to me is the LS500 F-sport, but I would want to have that and my GS-F; never would I sell the GS-F and replace it with an LS.
I would not. I bought a 2018 GS F in February and just got rid of it a week ago. Nice car; but the price point for the power is just too much. My 2019 Cadillac CTS V stickered at $90,100, only about $2k more than the GS F. I honestly enjoy the V much more than the F. Love the exhaust sound, love the customizability of driving modes (can put suspension in sport, steering in touring, exhaust in track) etc and it stays that way until you change it, Apple Car Play, and a whole host of other things. I've found out: get what you really want the first time and don't try to rationalize another choice. It will cost you more in the long term. GS F is a fine car, just not for me at that price point.

exactly how I feel about my 18. Perfectly nice car, feels like a jack of all trades, master of none. Had a 19 ES350 as a loaner and seemed like a better commuter car, and then could pick up a Supra or used Boxster when I want to run.
That advice is good--years ago bought a TL-S as a rational choice and ended up trading it in a year later for a M45 which is what I really wanted.
