Not to get off topic, but that red sport is lovely. Almost did a deal on one few months back after a test drive, but that tranny needs to be reprogrammed.

Only way that I wouldn't buy another GS-F is if the below actually comes true some day...haha
I love the simplicity of the GS-F. Get in and drive. I test drove a 2014 M5 prior to getting my car and there is just too much going on with suspension setting, performance settings, steering wheel feel, etc.

I've had mine for less than two months so I would say absolutely! If I did anything differently I would try to be more patient and look for a '17 model with the adaptive dampers!

Purchased a used 2016, low miles at a (roughly) comparable price point to the considerations listed below:
Used 2014/2015 Merc E63
Used 2016 Cadillac CTS-V
My prior experiences with Mercs were one of constant angst, primarily revolving around repairs, cost of repairs/parts, air suspension failures, and lack of any solid indie shops for repairs. My wife stills drives a Merc and I have this feeling it's made of glass and dreading the next repair (but it has been reliable), which requires a dealer visit.
After having owned both Gen 1 & 2 Vs, the gen 3's power was very appealing but not the long term fit and finish after the new vehicle experience wears off. Plus the Que system felt too far a stretch for my tastes.
I long ago gave up on pure performance for 2 reasons: 1> a new model or competitive model will come out and it will be faster and 2> In reality and at this power output range, I rarely use more the 7/10ths of a car's potential for longer than maybe 30 seconds a couple times per month.
The GSF strikes a perfect blend of go-fast technical goodies, visceral experience, and long-term quality with ZERO angst of repairs. Then again, I was always partial to Mary Ann over Ginger.
Good luck!

I would definitely by mine over again (at a large discount to msrp like almost everyone else). I love the big NA V8 that is very fun to drive fast but easy to drive everyday as well, the reliability of Lexus vs rivals, and the car really feels special inside unlike a lot of other cars in the price range. Plus it can actually fit 5 full sized adults, I'm over 6'4 and I can basically sit behind myself. I don't think there is anything in this category I'd rather have, and maybe I'd buy a cheaper dd wagon and a Porsche for fun, but that would cost more too.

After owning two isf's and now a gsf I wish the transmission was as responsive at a Porsche pdk. I know Lexus decisions are made based on reliability which is fine but there is a slight disconnect. I love the v8 platform and the piece of mind that no matter how hard I beat on it its reliable. I would buy again but I'm content with my 16 gsf for a while. I would buy a 19 but it may not make sense since the tech advances are minimal. This could be the end of the beloved 5.0 V8. I think an LCF IS my next logical step.

I would buy again, though the LC500 below with the Artisan Spirits kit is currently calling my name.
The only thing I may have done differently is:
- Bought pre-owned instead of new
- Looked for another color than black
