Default Best air intake

Can the factory air intake design be improved upon?
Thoughts?

Honestly? I don't believe in improving the factory intake system. And if you are convinced that you can and get good results, then I guess a drop in filter, and perhaps better material intake elbow... and maybe.. just maybe.. a heat shield for the secondary intake flap.

I installed the takeda intake only cause it sounds good and looks good. I don't expect anything else out of it.
I also ordered the heat shield cause it looks good. If RR say it helps, I'll take their word for it.

This RR intake could be interesting... it makes sense what they claim and why. I also installed the Takeda intake because of the sound, looks and because I like that type of filter.
