I’d have to assume you’d need a new harness as well, not sure if you remove the control panel if there is already a plug ready for that fourth button.

I hope thats not the case and that the button above where the steering wheel heat is at is shared with the same harness.

There are six different part numbers for the wire harness in the dash. Hard to say what is or is not included without opening it up and looking.

Well if that is the case then I'm shelving this mod, dont want to replace dash harnesses.

Happy news. The wiring is present in the wife's '16 GS F. I just validated it and in the process saw what a kluge the illuminated door sills are. Ugly harness hack on the install.

Yay, thanks buddy, appreciate you looking. Guess the mod is back on the plate. First mod I did was install the illum., sills. Wasn't bad, used the included wire taps for ground/power.

This is how my steering wheel looked from the factory

Can you post the part number for the control panel that has the heated steering wheel button? Don't know if the button is available by itself or you have to replace the whole assembly that has the ASC/TCM/Auto high buttons.

Can you check for me if that part number is the correct one? I am seeing these options

I do have pre-collision, so I assumed it was 8430853040 CABLE SUB-ASSY, SPIRAL 84306 URL10..ARL PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM-WITH(GSP)&STEERING WHEEL-F (W/HEATER) even though it states its for cars built after 9/2017, and does it really matter? Thought they were all identical.

I need to make sure I get the correct one because returns are not accepted on electrical parts.

Appreciate the help!

No sir, that is incorrect. I asked him about retrofitting heated leather and cant be done, another vendor couldnt do it either.

Hi eddie,

Were you able to get the heated pads installed into the carbon fiber wheel? I am considering doing the same, i have the new wheel but scared about opening my old wheel and pulling the pads out. Any issues with that process?

Thanks!
