Wanted to know of any common issues with this model and what can I expect for maintenance for this? What are the intervals? any difference between the 16s and 17s?
What year model E63 are you coming from? I have found that the maintenance costs are fairly close for each vehicle still under warranty and that the E63 is in another class performance wise.
The Lexus F vehicles fit the niche and selling point of those looking for reliability with underperforming engines when compared to Merc, BMW, Audi.

If that E63 comes with ceramic brakes forget about it. Maintenance when it comes times to replace those is upwards $15k

Horrific.. Especially considering NONE of the buyers probably will ever need the performance of ceramic when tootling back and forth on the commute ha!

Its pretty sad when 30k is needed and void warranty just to keep up with the competitors in the same class
I dont understand your statement same thing could be said for RCF. Lexus drop base price of $65,140 to 63,325 which was less than 2014 ISF some dealerships way less than 63k and lexus is now offering incentive and rebates on RCF. Now add performance package $5,500 carbon fiber roof, TVD etc., that brings price back up.

Why not skip bs get M3, C63, Giulia Quadrifoglio or ATS -V. Now 3 of them may cost you bit more but look at level of performance difference there is between three of those European cars that can achieve higher performance level than that of RCF and still have warranty.

There are at least 4 RCF that I've seen with S/C kits, three were RR Racing kits another had HKS kit I believe. Two of those RCF are CL members.

So using your own words "Its pretty sad when 30k is needed and void warranty just to keep up with the competitors in the same class" now RR Racing kit cost 10k plus what ever else they did to there cars. I'd be very curious to hear what those other RCF owners would feel about your statement because it directly pertains to their cars as well.

Oh, if you were going to mod GSF to increase HP you don't need to spend $30,000. All you need is 10K on RR Racing supercharger and cat back exhaust Apexi, PTS Joe Z exhaust, Borla, from $1500 to $2500 or you can opt for more expensive exhaust system. Or just leave factory exhuast and do muffler delete or swap. That would drop price down. So I say to each his own, it's their car if they want to mod it and spend money to put in supercharger good for them whether it be a GSF, RCF or ISF.
