Default Jeremy reviewed GSF

https://lexusenthusiast.com/2016/03/...he-lexus-gs-f/

he actually seems to like the car a lot, more than the m3 and m5. that's wonderful news. i have always said the gsf should be a better car than the rcf.

jeremy loves the lfa, it's the best car he has ever driven. then came the rcf and he bashed the car so bad he didn't even let stig drove it. people in the rcf forum went crazy and said he's nothing but biased. well, the gsf is here and he likes it a lot. i think that says a lot

I think the fact Jeremy is no longer part of Top Gear says a lot! The GSF has the same exact engine as the RCF. In terms of power how much different are they? Not by much! In fact the GSF compared to a Non Carbon Fibered optioned RCF is approx 80lbs heavier. I can't respect a car journalist who would be bought off by a competing car manufacturer. It's just wrong for the community and enthusiasts! Either way, I'm not trying to imply the F badge is the best or fastest but definitely not as bad as this jerk of Jermey made it out to be while he was on Top Gear.

that can be a theory but the fact that jeremy gave the lfa so much praise when he was still with TG makes me think otherwise. i personally don't see much reason for him to take shot at the rcf for no reason.

in fact, i have heard from more than a few sources that the gsf does drive better and more balanced than the rcf. imho? not surprising, i just don't find myself as a fan of a frankenstein chassis. the gs chassis has been a work of magic since the beginning. i think by just looking at the drivetrain and the overall weight you are merely scratching the surface

Well this article is very interesting! Definitely gonna throw a wrench in the plans for everyone out there waiting for the GS-F to drop in price. Maybe it's not overpriced after all?

Hardly the case. A good review isn't going to make someone go drop $90k on a GSF vs. a $60k GS360 F-Sport, especially since there were other favorable reviews earlier. My local dealership had 12 in inventory Saturday, when I went by.

Well I guess we'll just have to wait and see then. Just because Lexus has a few items in stock doesn't mean they won't sell. My guess is they aren't budging one bit.

Few in stock? There are 437 in inventory across the US (Total production once complete should be 2000 for this year), $5,000 discounts without much negotiating, and very few people buying them. No one is saying they won't ever sell, but they won't sell many with the current pricing. This is almost exactly what happened to the RC F, before they got smart and started offering some major discounts.

Default Who cares

Hi guys . What a wonderful car it is but to be honest after what he said about the SC430 a few years ago I couldn't give a stuff what the Bigot Clarkson thinks about anything. I am realistic enough to realise that I will never own one lol. However I am still over the moon with my bog standard 1999 GS 300 SE😆 Can't wait to view one though.

Default I love my RCF

I love my RCF OK the touch pad is difficult use but you get round that the car is a brilliant sports car and long distance cruiser it's great and as Chris Harris said in his review after 6 months the car will grow on you and you won't regret buying it. Fully agree it's so good to jump in and drive every day. So I enjoy it for what it is not what it should be compared to a BMW and guess what I've never seen another one on the road don't even know what the back end looks like with the brakes on !,

Jezzer needs a second look

My friend told me "I'd enjoy" tonights episode of TGT, knowing the GS F would be on there. I really do love this car. It certainly has its quirks (mouse infotainment system is a bit odd. Having a rotary **** might be better). Might not be as feature packed as a German competitor, but it's still a great car in its own right. Before the car was released some people were trying to say the GS F would be just another heavy lexus (based on initial reviews of the RF C that didn't have many reviews yet).

Once the actual reviews of how the TVD made it seem like the car is even smaller than it is (so driving was really good and it didn't drive like just some heavy sedan) people just took to just saying how the finding it ugly ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Even in expert mode, I like my ISF with the Giken LSD better than the GSF. Not that it is bad, but it just isn't as good. IME, the rear of the GSF doesn't feel as planted as the ISF.
