Just wanted to share my 2016 GSF with 36k miles. I just recently spent the last 3 months having all of the OEM carbon fiber stripped and redone. I had the exterior pieces dusted with a rainbow flake and on the interior, I decided to go red to match the hard red interior. My buddy is a CF mad scientist and fixes all of the Ferraris, McLarens, Porsches, etc. in town and absolutely killed this project. Hope everyone enjoys and as far as I know and my shop people at a super car social club - this is a 1 of 1 finish on an already rare car
Thanks man, this was a long project that was almost done and then I scrapped it and started over. We went thru a couple different iterations and designs with dyes and diferent flakes. I live in Las Vegas and my CF guy is located at a super car social club called DRVN
The guy that does this work specializes in Italian CF, which honestly has more depth. This was his first experience working on Japanese CF and I think we found the perfect mix which is actually a surf board epoxy and then a couple coats of clear. Any parts that lifted during the curing process were microdrilled and then injected with more epoxy. The interior CF depth was kept the same, only the rear spoiler has ferrari CF depth. truly looks amazing
Hell yeah! I am totally down to do a meet up and ride. I was thinking the lodge up at Mt. Charleston or something or paiute golf course meet and then drive up kyle canyon
