Default Opinion Needed - Rear Diffuser Repair

Alright, so I discovered my rear diffuser was scuffed up by someone and something. Likely from a parking lot, thinking shopping cart. Regardless of how strategic I am there’s always someone that has to be close. Sigh…

The damage is minimal, however, it was enough to go through the clear coat and take some of the paint away.

Weighing my options. What would you do?

Full body shop repair - guessing $1200-$1800 for a quality repair

Rapid repair - where the parts are not removed, but repaired in place, quoted $500

Bolt up a carbon diffuser - $$$$

Wrap the diffuser in a carbon wrap - way cheaper than buying a carbon diffuser

I haven’t spent much time researching, but the removal of that piece seems relatively easy.

Let me know what you think. Thanks in advance!

Were you already considering getting a CF diffuser? If so, that makes this easier. If that wasn't your plan then personally i'd just have it rapid repaired.

@NotFSport carbon diffuser wasn’t on the agenda, but if I have to spend $500+ either way, it’s worth considering.

I was leaning towards the rapid repair.
