Default Battery bracket holder

Anyone know if it’s ok to use a size 24 battery in the GS F? Seems like 24/34 are both used but the size 24 is a bit too small for oem bracket. I may be able to get the battery replaced since I bought the car through CarMax but if not would a new bracket for top of the battery and J hook help hold it down better? Something like the figs billet bracket? I just don’t want the oem bracket to rub into the battery and create issues. I was also curious is the top of the bracket suppose to be screwed down from both sides or just bolted on one side and hooked in on the other end?

I have a Group 24 battery in the wife's GS F. It fits just fine. The OEM holder only has one rod and nut. The other end gets inserted in a bracket.

Currently the battery’s got some marks from the bracket scratching up on it. Prob just going to replace the bracket since CarMax won’t replace the battery. Rather be safe than sorry. Especially since it’s rubbing in a bit.

For some reason my Duracell 24 battery is too tall for the OEM hold down bracket. Since there's no adjustability in the OEM hold down I had to use some zip ties as a temporary fix until I can find a better way to add some adjustment to the hold down.
