Default battery tie down

hi I was going to change out my battery but when trying to tie everything back on I don't see any hole for the j hook to hold on to any1 know?

Did you get the correct battery case size? Maybe your new battery is larger and has covered the hole for the J hook hold down bolt.

Curious, is that cover really necessary or what is the purpose of it really?

I did get a bigger size battery was going to try the interstate super premium agm battery but the case doesn't fit so im just going to return it next week and get the interstate premium battery. the hook is just not like a regular J hook that goes through the hole. ours look like a L hook that I don't know where it go through or go underneath where.

the case have two clips holding the wires its a pain to unhook the clips when its your first time changing out the gs350 battery. I was scratching my head for like 30 min trying to unhook the clips.

They are but once you understand how it works, it's not a problem. Here is a video, I hope it is helpful. The point is to open the connector closest to the bumper, then lift up the plastic cover with the positive cable still in the second connector, and then undo it, otherwise you will have space issues.
