Default Buyback reported on Vin History

Hi all,

I am looking at a 2016 GSF with 71k miles. It has a buyback reported on it, but Vin History does not explain much. Are there common issues in 2016 that would result in something like that? Does anyone think Lexus will divulge those details if I call with the Vin?

Thanks

You may want to check the VIN here:

https://www.lexus.com/My-Lexus

What am I looking for in this page? I need to create an account for this Vin? Or is there some other form to put the vin in?

^^^^Yes, create an account and then enter the VIN as your vehicle. When you are finished doing the research you can then remove it.

Yikes, looks like this car had a long block replaced within 5,400 miles.

And maybe an over-torqued spark plug that caused a misfire....looks like the trail kinda runs cold after these instances though
