I was asking if someone had the "unlimited" carfax plan, and if they would kindly run a carfax on the VIN I provided. If that's a no-no, then my apologies; but I've given out carfax info in the past to persons that needed a report.

Do not trust Carfax. Take you car to trusted Indy shop or other dealership to do pre-buy inspection. I said that because one of my car was totaled by insurance and I found it again on Ebay and it was carfax certified.
Last weekend my GF found a 2014 E550 coupe with clean carfax report, after close inspection, we found the car has been in some kind of accident, the front fender does not align with hood or headlight, with hood open, you can see the screws are no longer aligned with the paint.
