Had a weird issue this week with 2020 GSF with 30K miles - the fuel gauge was showing quarter tank full and the car won't start. After towing to the dealership, it started when they tried. But they kept it for further test, and it stopped again when they were driving and had to tow back to the dealership.

The fuel gauge is not showing the remaining gas correctly - and the gas tank was empty!!! Still with the dealer awaiting parts. Has anyone encountered this issue?

 

Never in 130k miles of operation. Sounds like a pretty close to one off problem.

 

Never had this problem with any Lexus or any other car. The dealership is changing the fuel pump and sending unit - waiting on the parts with no ETA!

 

Ouch. That's not fun.
