Lexus GSF Grille Replacement
Hello, I recently purchased a 2019 Liquid Platinum GSF off auction and was horrified when I saw the price of the front grille assembly. Can anyone please advise what would be a cheaper solution to this? I did a little research before pulling the trigger, and the hood, headlights and bumper cover was reasonably priced. One thing I did not check was the grille assembly, and now that I'm ready to order parts this is definitely going to hurt. I see some people bought the gs350 conversion bumper but I am curious if this would be a simple bolt on installation. This is my first time posting on a thread and I just created the account, so any any insight or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to becoming a member of this community and sharing my experiences.
I feel your pain.. But don't worry, there are some options;-)
1. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Ikon-Moto...ille/160268936
I heard someone installed this successfully. Not sure how about the gaps and overall quality.. so doublecheck before buying, it's still 500$..
2. Amayama or something like that.
https://www.amayama.com/en/part/toyota/5310130a40
Shipping won't be cheap but still better than dealer prices..
3. Is your grille completely destroyed/missing or just a part of it? Every piece exists as spare OEM part except this upper grille (with radar behind). So if only you can save somehow your upper grille, you should be able to buy/replace every individual component rather than the entire grille assembly..
4. The price is crazy because of that carbon element. If yours is fine then you are lucky.. if not really, try to find a shop where they work with carbon fiber materials. The pattern lexus uses is a standard one, nothing exceptional, so a good shop will repair it and make it as if it was brand new.. The price of course depends on the condition of your part. Repairs of small cracks + new layer of carbon from $1k up so not the cheapest option, but results may be amazing and still way cheaper than dealer prices..
Good luck!
Edit: I see you have already found answers in other threads, anyways.. good luck ;-)

Thank you so much for replying. I will try and get some photos soon, and already got the bumper cover and hood from Lexuspartsnow.com for a reasonable price. I wanted to ask before I order.
The part number that Lexus provides for the grille assembly is 53101-30A50
However, all of the either aftermarket or japan spec ones are labeled 53101-30A40.
So it seems it is off by 1 digit and I was curious if anyone knew what the deal is with that?
I tried calling both Lexus and Toyota and they both told me that "40" part number is not coming up in there system.
Yes, my carbon fiber lip survived with no cracks and all of the clips intact!
After I sort out the Grille issue, I will move on to the headlights.

This is the one that I am planning to order

It seems Black Hawk is a pretty reputable company and the shipping { at least so far } seems to be only 50$ where as Amayama quoted me 1,000$ to be shipped to my nearest port where I would have to pay additional duties, taxes and fees.
Before I pull the trigger, a confirmation of fitment would be highly highly appreciated
