Default Reduced power mode after oil change

I just changed the oil for the first time after buying my GS-F. I drove it for about 3 days but it just didn't feel the same. Power levels felt like maybe 75% of normal. No lights or warnings - nothing. Oil level perfect.

I got the idea to check on the air filter, so I disconnected the MAF and opened the box, re-seated the filter, and connected everything back up. The car ran 100% back to normal after that.

I'm stumped that opening and closing the filter enclosure like that would make any difference. During the oil change, I didn't touch the intake or anything connected to it at all.

Has anybody else experienced this strange behavior?

Good info, thanks. Sounds like the exact issue I'm experiencing.
