Default What is it with Lexus GS deals?

So I got a '15 GS350 F-Sport I leased that is very soon going to be up to either return or trade and I really wanted to get into another GS350 lease because I absolutely love the car and my wife loves it as well but the deals and prices for leasing are HORRIBLE for the GS now! We are talking about paying almost the same thing I'm paying for my RC-F?!?!!! They want over $700 a month for a GS350 and to me this is outrageous for the GS. Has anyone gotten a GS350 lately? I rarely see the latest model (2016+) on the street compared to before.... I'm even considering going to get something else as Lexus is really not offering me anything that really gets my attention. The only other one they kind of gave me a good offer was a fully loaded RX with the Mark Levinson, panoramic sunroof and everything but I'm not too excited to get into an RX again, specially after having the GS350. I dunno what to do because I don't want to leave Lexus and it's reliability, looks and comfort but I'm seeing a lot better deals for other brands like Infiniti, BMW and Audi

Honestly? In that segment in order to get a good lease you'll have to move on from Lexus.

The best GS deals are usually during the Holiday Season.
Thank You.

GS mmc has been a disappointment from the ugly front end, 4cyl base engine, 6 cylinder going up in price, lousy lease deals.

Not too hard to see why they only sold 689 GS's this month while selling 6,404 ES's.

That's what bothers me right there. The GS had great deals in the segment a few years ago and now all the sudden probably the worst. I leased mine coming in with an upside down car and still got a good deal back then

I got until December so I'm holding on 'till the December to Remember deals, I'll shop around and see what other options I have and worse comes to worst I might buy out my lease, only have 23k miles on it anyway

I got a 2016 GS F Sport for 2K down 530 a month, I was hit with $700ish/monthly at first too. They're crazy if they think somebody is going to pay that much for a GS. Not that its a bad car or anything but the tops a GS is worth imo is 550-600ish, anything else you could get a better car. For 700 I'll get a Audi A7

Mine is over by Dec. too but I've been looking out and as of right now used 2015's are going for 34 to 39k "certified" with similar miles or much more. My buy out price right now is 32k+ i'm leaning towards keeping it. sigh smh I'm still wondering

Have you actually looked at the numbers in an A7 to know that for sure? Every time I've ever priced an Audi lease I've been shocked by how terrible it is.

no have you? Im assuming its 700-800ish for the A7, A6 is similar to GS prices. They have specials sometimes and they go for below 500 sometimes too

I have, several times. I could not lease a well optioned A6 for less than $900 a month, A7 more. My LS460 lease is the same payment as I was quoted for a 67k A6 Prestige.

Yeah they have "specials" and all, but when you option one out well, and you have them run a normal lease with normal miles, and without a bunch of money down their leases are quite poor.

If you want to lease a car in that segment for 500-600 you need to look at a 5 Series, and to a lesser extent an E Class.

I think I'm just going to buy out my '15 at the end of my lease. I still love the car but would not be willing to pay $700+ a month for a refreshed GS.

Re: leases, I was paying $450/mo for a 2013, then $500/mo for a 2014, and just extended my lease 6 months b/c they wanted north of $650/mo for a 2017. I decided to just buy my 2014 b/c the offers were horrible and they had no good reason why- it's basically the same f'n car.

I pay just over 600 for the GS now and that was coming in with an upside down RX (almost -$5k if I remember correctly) for 36 months and didn't put anything down. For what was a $56k car, I thought it was a good deal, would have been in the 500s if it wasn't for the RX I was trading in... I'm waiting for December to Remember and if nothing I'm probably buying it. It would be $34k, dunno if that is a good price or not
