Infrequent Rear End CLUNK
Hi group. I drive a 2013 GS 350 and sometimes hear a clunk in the rear end. The most reliable way to reproduce it is to make a left turn across traffic and then immediately veer right and up a small incline in to my favorite gas station. That combination of steps will almost always produce the noise. I've described this to my Lexus service advisor and drew a blank. They haven't gotten under my car yet to investigate. I'm hoping to have something to suggest before I schedule a service appointment. Sound familiar to anyone? Thanks.

Closing the loop on my clunk question. Based on the wisdom of this forum, I took my GS to the dealer to investigate the clunk and the steering wheel spiral cable noise. They confirmed both and repaired them at no cost to me under "goodwill" and warranty. (I have a Platinum extended warranty for 5 more months.) The service ticket says, "per SMAP -- TSIB -- retorque headliner and moon roof bolts" and "replace spiral cable". Thanks again for the excellent feedback, LatinGS350, dchar & viparr.
