Front Seat Assembly Help
Hey,
I replaced my front footwell light and love them. I really want to replace the rear as well, but it seems like I need to be able to take apart the back of the front seats to get enough access to the lights. Does anybody have an pics of doing this or instructions from the service manual on how to take apart the back of the front seats?

Thanks. I will try but my dealership is not that great about normal service, much less something I am not paying for. If anybody else has done this or has the manual with instructions it would be greatly appreciated.

I managed to get access to the footwell light.
The top part of the seatback comes off first. I broke one of my clips because I was not sure what I was doing, but I think it will be OK unless it is pulled on.
Here is the top part once removed.
At the base of the top part on the sides you want to pull and rotate the edges outward.
Close up of the bottom clips. You can see how the encircle a screw and how you have to rotate it out.
Once released you can then drop it down to release the upper clips.
Once the top has been removed you can look down and see the two white clips holding the top of it on.
Push down on them to release the top of the bottom part.
I did not see how to remove the bottom clips of the lower back without dealing with the undercoating of carpet, but with it pulled down you can access the light and still work on it.
With the lower back pulled down there will be a fabric cover at the bottom helt on with 3 white clips. Lift up on those to drop it down.
Now you can unscrew the clip holding the light on so that you can work on it.
For a good guide on doing the wiring you can also refer to:

I did not use connectors on my front, but instead just did a straight solder and wrapped in electrical tape.
From what I can tell I will do the same for the back then place the T10 socket into the clip and there should be plenty of room for the clearance of the back of the socket.
I will use some more electrical tape to firmly attach the socket to the clip.
Hope this helps somebody else as it was impossible to find information on the web or the forums for doing the rear footwell lights, but now I will finally complete this project.
