That seems to be a common theme for that specific muffler from what I've read in the past. Pretty much any other muffler would be louder. How much are you looking to spend and how loud do you want it?

You can just get the full catback for more sound.

you'll need other parts of the system, such as the mid-pipe or best option just go full catback like above poster said to get more aggressive sound.

I did have the Borla earlier and I replaced it with invidia the Borla makes a lot of noise when the car is idling or driving 10 to 15 miles an hour and nobody could figure out what's wrong with that

Spending over $500 for a muffler invidia I would not recommend it to nobody

I hate to spend another $500 plus installation for mid pipes

So what is the different between mid pipe and straight pipe

Get the midpipe! You'll for sure hear a difference with the exhaust once you get the midpipe. Same reaction to me when I first got the exhaust.

Straight pipe is cutting out the cats and/or resonators. Midpipe removes that. So its a straight bolt on. Good to have your stock system in case you ever get a state ref and need to put your car back to stock ASAP.

Sounds different as well. Different material for piping.

Hi Josh
The question is if both of them do the same job one of them is bolt on one of them is welded on is it worth it the $500 and when you said it doesn't sound the same is because one of them is stainless steel and the other is just a pipe ??

Thanks
