Debating on Exhaust systems
Hey Guys,
Been shopping around for a system to add and I can't decide between the Tanabe Medallion or the JoeZ PTS. Does anyone have either of these and would recommend one over the other? I will most likely go with the Tanabe mainly because of hte 93db of sound it puts out. How much louder is the JoeZ if anyone knows?

JoeZ all the way, first 500 miles I was like omg what did I do??? have to admit I was a bit more spirited at driving but 5k miles later only notice it at cold start but love it when going thru the gears. its on my wife's IS350 (axle back) so knowing the GS has better insulation, I'm sure it'll be better.

Contact us for the Tanabe, in stock, and it'll save you money as well.

Is the axle back that good? I ordered the cat back and now wondering will it be too loud. I watched a few videos of different exhaust and I was thinking the axle back was good enough. I'm really hoping its not crazy loud.... I guess I will find out when I get it and install..

I have the Joez axle back and its a pretty good deep sound.
Drone is very minimal and at times during local driving and acceleration it is definitely a noticeably difference.

I'm torn between JoeZ and Invidia myself. I'm leaning more toward the JoeZ since it sounds a little more tamed and not as raspy as the Invidia

JoeZ has more drone, little to no rasp.
Depends on what you can live with. Some people don't mind or like a little rasp. Some people would rather live with more drone that to hear a little rasp.
Although I have the invidia catback exhaust, I agree that the happy medium is Invidia midpipe with JoeZ Axleback (reduced rasp compared to Invidia full catback with reduced drone compared to JoeZ fullcatback).

I wish there was more options like the meisterschaft that has the ev controlling valves, do you can have it quiet if you want. The meisterschaft is like $3k though and is a tough pill for me to swallow. Although every meisterschaft exhaust on every car they make them for has sounded amazing. I personally can't stand any drone.

Joez muffler uses its own bolts and nuts. The oem's are different. Not sure if this will help in anyway, I just removed my axle back and found out the hard way going back to stock.
