Gas Tank Cover Annoyance
Hey Fam,
need a bit of help...it might be a quick fix but not sure. I have a strong sound system...and I got rid of the rattling from my license plate by using 3M double sided adhesive but my last annoyance is the rattling that comes from the gas tank cover...please offer up any suggestions...I'd appreciate it. Thank you in advance!

When i bought my GS, the gas cover part that flips out was a bit loose. the outer shell and inner plastic was separating slightly. I applied a little 3M double sided molding tape and it fixed the issue immediately. Try that, and if not maybe tapping around the area to find out what is causing the rattle? Since you already have 3M tape that could be your solution.

its just the rattling from the system that it's creating...I just went outside to check if there's obvious separation but it's perfectly in tact... feel like I'm running out of solutions...

I'm going to dynamat mines. I have a box of it some where around the house. I have to find it. I want to do the trunk. My audio installer noticed the had tank vibration the day of install and recommended dynamat.
