When I first got my GS and started to play some music the bass would make something buzz and vibrate in the driver door. Instant disappointment. I don't like hearing rattles and buzzing sounds in my car it drive me insane. I started smacking and holding down differenet parts of the door. Found out it was the driver controls for the windows and door locks. If I put my hand on it, it stopped making noise.

Today randomly looking around watching videos about my GS350 this guy has a video on exactly my problem. So I am assuming this isn't too uncommon of an issue.

I hear the same rattle in mine. I have not checked yet to see where it is coming from but now that I have seen this, I will! Thanks!

Common problem, I followed this guy's video when I first got my car. Did the job!

If your car is under warranty, a dealership will just replace the whole part. Had that done in my car around a month into ownership. IIRC, warranty payout for dealership was around $550 with parts + labor.

Interesting! I may go this route. I did put pressure on that part of the door when I cranked the volume up today and it make the rattle disappear so I'm pretty sure this is the same issue I have.

My door rattled quite a bit as well, I did this a couple of months back and definitely fixed the issue. Trust me, it's well worth the 5 mins!

I just did it the other day took care of my issue. I could take it to the dealer, but honestly what's to say it doesn't happen again? It was a quick and easy fix. Not to worried about this one.

Same here. Took mine in for one of the 5k services and did a drive with a service tech. They trimmed something and padded something else and problem was fixed when I picked up my car.
