Swirl marks on center console
#4
If the marks are actually from light surface scratches you can use a fine polishing compound and then follow up with a good wax. I did not have to do ahis on my GS but did on my first ES and it polished out just fine. Meguiar's or Mothers polishing products will work fine. If they are really light you can use a cleaner wax.

Seems to work well, thanks for the tip. I was tinkering with a few other items today (LED turn signals, etc.) and had some finger prints on the fenders and hood. Picked up the black polish spray bottle and proceeded to give the hood a quick two trigger pulls.....YIKES (my car is white). It was a little shocking to see the black wax all over my hood. It wiped away just like normal wax, but man-o-man did it catch me off guard.

Where in the center console are u talking about?
If it's plastic/clear acrylic, you can use polywatch... I bought it to get rid of fine scratches on my watches, it is better than wax/compounds, i mean those things are for PAINT/Clearcoat. not exactly for inside your car.

I've been thinking about this too. I know you could use automotive polish/wax to get it out. But I was thinking about a more long term solution. I was considering one of those ceramic or nano coatings people put on their car, like opicoat. Anyone with more knowledge on the product that would have some reservations of doing so?
