Yes, I spray automotive glass clean on an eyeglass towel and it does magic!

I use the Meguiar's spray wax for my console (with a lint free cloth). All the swirl marks will disappear.

If the marks are actually from light surface scratches you can use a fine polishing compound and then follow up with a good wax. I did not have to do ahis on my GS but did on my first ES and it polished out just fine. Meguiar's or Mothers polishing products will work fine. If they are really light you can use a cleaner wax.

Try Turtle wax brand black polish, works great on dark paint.

Seems to work well, thanks for the tip. I was tinkering with a few other items today (LED turn signals, etc.) and had some finger prints on the fenders and hood. Picked up the black polish spray bottle and proceeded to give the hood a quick two trigger pulls.....YIKES (my car is white). It was a little shocking to see the black wax all over my hood. It wiped away just like normal wax, but man-o-man did it catch me off guard.

Where in the center console are u talking about?

If it's plastic/clear acrylic, you can use polywatch... I bought it to get rid of fine scratches on my watches, it is better than wax/compounds, i mean those things are for PAINT/Clearcoat. not exactly for inside your car.

Thank you for this thread, I have been meaning to ask this.. the previous owner of my car has left some rather nasty scratches by the shifter. I will try Polywatch

+1, I use this as well, if it is okay for my vintage Rolex/Panerai, should be okay for the interior of a car.

Will the polywatch work to remove the scratches and swirls in the clear plastic cover of the 12.1" GPS screen?

I've been thinking about this too. I know you could use automotive polish/wax to get it out. But I was thinking about a more long term solution. I was considering one of those ceramic or nano coatings people put on their car, like opicoat. Anyone with more knowledge on the product that would have some reservations of doing so?
