I really, really prefer the firmer sport suspension. I would love it if the suspension could be set to default to that even in Eco mode.

Anyone know if there is service mechanic voodoo that can make this happen?

the avs is done by turning the **** at the top of the strut tower. i almost wonder if one can just disconnect that motor and just crank the **** and let it stay there

On the same note, can the **** be manually turned to make the shocks softer?

Perhaps you could just turn on AVS from in the car and then remove the power to the motors so they don't get the signal to revert back to normal. That way you don't have to remove the AVS motor or manually adjust it.

I disconnected the AVS motors and manually adjusted the dampeners counter-clockwise to make them softer and so far it's very nice! took about 10 minutes to do, the fronts is just pop the hood and remove (3) 14mm nuts on the cap on top of the shocks, and the rear was just remove the interior liner on the sides of the trunk and adjust. I used a pair of thin needle nose pliers.
