Trunk mounted taillight "Creeeaak"???

Here is a video I took some time ago which demonstrates this problem. It occurs at lower temperatures.

That's it EXACTY!!! I also notice it's your right taillight as well. Seems to be a theme going on here???

Mine has the same noise and it also happens only on right taillight too....

Very easy fix, they install some foam tape between the lamp and the trunk housing. Problem solved.

Yes as mentioned above they removed the tail light and re felted it, unfortunately this only solved the problem for a week or so and the noise was back, however about a month later the squeaking disappeared and for the past 2 months it has been fine, I am just wondering if it is temperature related, I will see if it returns in the colder weather.

It's 100 degrees here today and sure enough, my right side does it too. I thought it was the hinge at first (natural, logical thing) but nope, like you guys said, it's the light assembly. Pushing on it creaks.

Since the car is a week old I figure the dealer will be glad to see me again anyway.
