Has anyone had any personal experiences with these smart key cards yet? Seems like they are pretty thin and can be carried in your wallet. Found this one on Ebay but you have to take it to the dealership to be programmed.
sure the cards are cool, and I originally wanted one. But with the fob, I already sometimes forget to give it to a family member when switching cars. I cant even imagine how inconvenient it would be to open up my wallet and remove the key for them
Also, if you valet your car, you will have to hand it over and there is not keychain or anything or them to hang it on the key racks
Is it suppose to let me open all the doors keyless like the regular key? Its not doing it and also i have to hold it near the ignition to start it according to my service advisor. Why? Is the battery low in the key card that I got?

If that's the case, it defeats the whole purpose of a wallet card...
My dealer says that the smart card key from Sewell does not work with the 2013 GS F-Sport as it is compatible with the LS600h and other upper end Lexus. The key is not opening any of the doors and not starting the car unless you put key near ignition for more than 5 seconds. We replaced batteries 4 times with the chief mechanic confirming that for the GS right now there is no compatible smart card key so do not buy the ones online right now, I am a bit disappointed but hell the car is awesome so that matters more.

Good to know and thank you for the update.
This whole 2013 GS 350 thing is like a science experiment
