Yes they are that good. Yokohama Advan sport A/S + . They check all the boxes. Michelins are good too but of late they have had many defective tires they put out, and they don't last long at all for $1200 - $1400. The Yok's also handle a bit better that the Michelins.

Are the Yokohama Advan Sport A/S smoother / ride softer then the Pirreli P7 A/S +?l

Advans are a performance tire, and the Pa7’s are touring tires.

I need to replace the original tires on my ‘13, and just need comfort. The F-Sport is already to firm, and wish to tame it down.

I have tried lots of tires on my GS. The Advan is like the Pirelli and Michelin all in one. Advan yes is performance but Touring ride and quite. Very smooth. Thats the thing about them, they are not a stiff sidewall tire at all. All the while they handle very nice, but ride like a Touring tire. Read back a few pages of others here who have them. The other Lexus model forums are running them also and love them too.

If you have a F Sport run the front back combo in the higher side wall size. Handles the same with more comfort. I run the 245/40/19 Front & 285/35/19 rear. With the wider staggarded RC F BBS Wheels. I forgot what the reg Stock F Sport side wall upgrade is? I think its 245/40/19 front with 275 something 19? Someone here can tell you.

Similar to DaSyce, looking for quiet and comfort above all on replacement tires. I have 2019 GS 350 f sport. Came with Dunlops, which got noisy and rough quickly so now ready to upgrade. Sounds like Yoko Advan is widely recommended for quiet and comfort. @jgscott...I'm intrigued by your suggestion to run slightly wider tire (245 and 285) for added comfort...is that ok to do (no safety issues, still fits ok?)...sorry I am a rookie on tires. Thanks

The dealership where I bought my car gave me Toyo tires. No complaints, they work good. Pretty sure a set of Michelins are better but for anyone on a budget Toyo is good. Might get them again if I am tight on money when it comes to replace them.

Most run the245/40/19 front 275/35/19 rear. I run a different wheel than stock, I have the RC F wheels.

Give them a little description of ride, quite, handling, rain? Glad to see you are happy like everyone who got them!

I have the Michelin Pilot Sport AS 4 and it handles great in the rain and sun but I think it will last around 25K miles since I can't rotate the ones on my vehicle.

Thank you for always posting about the Yokohama's. I love these tires!!! I just got them on my GS and Michelin's A/S4 are overrated lol. They ride so much more smoother but the car still feels agile. Deff gonna make a vid on it for the YouTube channel lol.

Thanks for always advocating for the Yoko's.

Allow me to chime in - at the recommendation of both @bclexus and @AJLex19 I went with the Pirelli P7 AS Plus 3 - 1st set of Pirelli’s I have owned - here we are 3 years later at 60K mi and still have at least 20K mi left - spectacular tire - great wear - awesome in both rain and snow - helps to bal /rot every 7.5K miles.

Funny you mentioned the Pirelli's as my dad just got back from the shop today and mounted a brand new set of the P7 AS Plus 3 on his '11 GS350 AWD. Excellent tire and Tirerack currently has an $80 instant rebate on a set of 4.

This is good info as I really liked the Continentals DWS that I had on my Acura and planned on getting them on the GS when I needed them but seems here that they dont match the car well. Noted.

I went with a slightly larger tire in 2021, and I am very happy.

245/45R-18 Sumitomo HTR A/S P03 XL. $135 each when I bought them.

They are quiet, comfortable, and they do a decent job in corners. I'd buy them again, were definitely the best deal at the time.

The are a hair larger, and a tad wider, so they protect the rims better and fill the wheel well a little better.
