I just bought some Te37sl 19x9.5 +22 and 19x10.5 +12. My fenders are rolled and pulled. I put on the rear wheels and they did not fit it stuck out about two inches is there any other things to try

Do you have any photos? Are they hitting the fender or just sticking too far out?

What is your suspension setup?

The offset is just too low, where did you get those specs before you ordered?

If you are not lowered then a drop can help with more negative camber to tuck them in at the top. You can also try the OEM JDM fender extensions to give a subtle extension effect to mask how much they are sticking out. I did those two when I installed my RC-F wheels but those are only 19x10 +41.

1) Join Cambergang
2) Go wide body (rocket bunny)
3) Return the wheels and get more proper fitting offset

Don't want to make another thread but would like to find out if the following 20s would fit without issue on a F Sport with stock ride height

Front: 20x9.0|5x114|40
Rear: 20x10.0|5x114|45

275/30r20 rear tyres and 235/35r20 fronts.

After speaking to some local guys, seems the rear should not be a problem but the front may poke out a cm or so. Still hoping to some pics of anybody with a similar set up?

Recommend you check out this thread:

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/gs-...el-thread.html

you’ll see lots of folks in the low 30s in terms of offset of 20x9 front wheels.

also check out this calculator:

https://www.1010tires.com/Tools/Whee...et-Calculator#

you’ll want to make sure both the inner and outer clearances are good re: appearance and rubbing.

good luck!

I've had a look at this and all seems well, 9" +40 would leave me with 8mm less inner clearance in the front but am not sure if that would be an issue, also not too sure how interpret the outer part extending 18mm when you factor in tyres? Can I interpret it simply as it sticks out that much compared to current setup?

I'm more confident in the rear as many people report 10.5" +40 with no issues and it doesn't seem to poke out as much as the tool would have you believe (but this is just a visual thing, could be different in reality)

Pity you can't do a test fitment before buying online. Sorry I'm a complete noob at this.

see my post in the aftermarket wheel thread.

The rears are fine and won't rub at all with 285's and a roll/pull
my fronts don't rub at all even with it being 19x9.5 and +25 offset.

If it says I'll have 8mm less inner clearance on the new wheel, and the gap between the caliper and current F Sport wheel spokes is less than 8mm, does that mean it won't fit?

for reference these are the wheels I plan to to get.

The 8 mm inner clearance refers to the reduction in distance from the edge of the inner rim and the suspension etc….

The gap between the caliper and wheel spokes is a different matter… recommend you speak with the seller for assurance they will fit without a spacer.

Also, I know you aren’t asking, but considering this is a $ignificant investment… I personally think the 40mm offset is not ideal, as the stock rims @ 45mm are tucked too far in… somewhere in the 32mm range would look much better.

I really appreciate the input, I'm a total noob at this, I'm worried about lower offsets poking the wheels out past the fenders, and I'm not planning on a drop so I'm kinda happy with the wheels being tucked. Extending out 18mm seems like a decent out amount compared to stock.

Happy to help - I’m also researching / leaning thanks to all the other awesome folks here.

And no problem staying tucked - it’s your ride and ca$h. The aftermarket wheels thread contains posts containing photos along with specs so you can see what different specs look like on the vehicle.

Here's mine 245/40/20 - 20x9 offset 39, 275/35/20 - 20x10 offset 46

Thank you very much for this, I think this is the closest I will get to what am planning, is that stock ride height? I'm assuming you have no clearance issues or anything of the sort?

Also do you not have any issues with the much larger overall diameter compared to stock?

On Swift spring since Nov. Spring height should have settled by now. I was worry about the suspension bottomining out on bigger road dips but so far ok. Mine is a Luxury spec and not F Sport.

On to tire clearance - i DO encounter occasional tire touching the fender liners in the front mostly the top part. I can see that eventually i will have small holes and will need to start plastic weld some parts. I will change the tire sizes to 255/35/20, 285(295)/30/20 on the next set. The current tire size setup is oversized and too much tire for the car IMHO. Makes the car sluggish on take offs as well.
