I checked my engine bay and saw grease or oil on the intermediate steering shaft which connects to the steering rack. My car is 2016 GS350 non FSport (RHD).
There are no clunking noises or knocking but I always found sensation of very very slight wobble at steering wheel centre or notchy feeling in centre at speeds between 50-60kms. The dealer said they could feel what I was talking about but couldn’t find any faults. I’m surprised they didn’t find the oil on this shaft.
Can someone check their bay and tell me what theirs looks like or is this normal? Some links said might be grease from factory. There is no leaks I can see from brake fluid above it and no oil around it other than on the shaft.
