Default 2013 Adaptive Variable Suspension

Newbee here. Thank you in advance for your patience.
I just purchased a used 2013 GS 350 F sport, (Love it by the way). The Dealership I purchased it through, (Shady Acres Auto. LOL) changed the front shocks for me. They appeared to have done an OK job, (no popping, strange noises). They did have the alignment done after. I have the print out of alignment. But I am not sure if they properly installed the AVS Actuator properly. Little difficult for me to tell if Sport+ mode is actually changing the suspension. Does anybody have any pics with directions on how to properly install the actuator? I'm assuming the shock adjuster pin needs to be in a particular location in reference to the Adjuster setting. Very difficult for me to find any pics or info on this. Been searching online forever. I would really appreciate if anybody could help me out with this.

This is awesome. Thank you much for your response. If I place the shock in it's soft position, (counter clockwise as in diagram), and place the de energized adjuster on top, should that be good? I'm assuming the avs controller is soft at it's de energized state.
Thanks for your help.

Thanks again OOgoobs. Does anybody have any instructions. I think something like turn actuator counter clockwise to remove. Then place it together and turn about 40 degrees clockwise and reinstall. Sound about right? I see the second pic OOgoobs sent me. Is that indicating to turn actuator 40 degrees clockwise, than reinstall, while the shock is in the soft position? I wish I was the one that disassembled, it probably would not be so difficult to figure out. I really hate when someone else works on my car. They did the brakes also. 2 left rotors, (nice), and they did not install the spring clips that hold the pad pin in place,(scary). I don't know why I cant find anything in this forum about replacing shocks with info on AVS actuator disassembly and reassembly.
Thanks for any response.

Yea nothing like doing it yourself to know its right. This is a great Topic. I had my AVS Struts replaced and now I'm wondering too?

Does anyone have a PDF they can attach?

Sports+ is very easy to feel, you can definitely feel that there is less float over the road. Also, it's hard to be installed the wrong way, it's 40 degree to remove, 40 degree to install.
You can also use GTS to check the Actuator position.

Just to verify. Would I turn the actuator counterclockwise to remove? And clockwise to reinstall, ??

Out of curiosity, would these struts fit a base gs? Can't locate any non-avs front struts and by the looks of it, these struts can permit manual dampening adjustments which would be awesome. Just need to be sure there's no fitment issues

Seems like it would fit but there is aftermarket suspension with more adjustments for dampening than oem.

Any help would be appreciated. Somebody else changed my shocks. I can't really tell if sport+ mode is working. I would like to double check these. I pulled off one of the modules, it just kind of sitting there. Doesn't seem like it's really clipped to the mounting bracket for the module. Anybody changed there AVS Struts before??
This is weird. I can't find anything online about this, even a module assembly parts break down might help. You would think nobody has ever changed there own struts for the AVS system.
