Default Washer Fluid Leak

2013 GS 350 F Sport

Hi all, I'm having an issue where the windscreen washer fluid is leaking out. I initially thought I must have hit something underneath the car to cause the leak but I recently heard of someone who had the same issue but it was something to do with the headlight washer mechanism.

Has anyone else experienced this? What is the solution?

Sorry if this has already been covered.

Any advice appreciated. Thanks

Thanks.

There is no problem with the sensor because it goes away when I fill it back up, until it drains out again.

I will probably just get the windshield washer reservoir tank replaced. Should be relatively inexpensive, fingers crossed.

Does your 4GS have headlight spray washers? If so, maybe the washer spray line (hose) coming from the washer reservoir tank has worked loose, or become partially disconnected, or is leaking.

[Edit: I don't think F-Sport models have the headlight spray feature...]

Hi bclexus, yes the Australian F-Sport models do have the headlight spray feature so that indeed may be the cause which would align with what another person was saying about their washer fluid leak.

I'll be sure now to mention to the tech to check the spray line hose before ordering a new windshield washer reservoir tank.

Thanks again
