Nice so just for the F Sport Record with the Stop Tec drilled, (I run the same Drilled not slotted) what pads are you using? Any noise? Hopefully you cleaned and lubed them.
So here we go again with another doc'd Stop Tech/Akebono F Sport Brake install. ZERO NOISE, and 1/4 the Factory cost too. Thanks.
Noise free? Wow sounds great. I'm scared ****less to order rotors because of the conflicting posts around here lol. Close to pulling trigger but can't decide between Centric, EBC, or Stop Tech. Was actually leaning away from the Stop Techs because plain rotors are less problematic than drilled or slotted??? I'm too cheap to pay for the OEM's haha.
Mine will be for the front not the back. It seems like the back rotors have way fewer issues.

Stop Tech has Plain quality Rotors that work too. The Drilled just look so nice!
I'm running Tanabe NF210 lowering springs on stock original shocks.
If anyone was curious about the different shade of wheels, I had the rear wheel repaired. I guess they did a refinish as well. It had a center bend.
I'm probably going to replace the front brakes in the next month or so.
Car washed after I painted the rear calipers and installed Stop-Tech drilled rear rotors. I'm really enjoying the look.
Please keep us updated on your results. The Textar pads took about a month to start squealing, as I recall. Cleaning and lubing them helped, but again only for awhile.
I am convinced that different cars act differently, I just don't understand why.
Good luck! And sharp GS, by the way.
Stoptech rotors and akebono pads...That is the bullet proof situation... I keep saying this man. Quiet as a mouse, you don't need the OEM shim, no dust and cheap! I would still grease all metal on metal contact points as well as where the pistons meet the pad backing. Waaaaay cheaper than OEM and good quality.

25mm spacers on the front. I had 25mm on the rear but took them off when I did the brakes. no rubbing at all just some no-name spacers that I didn't trust.
