This has been under my hood for a year - courtesy of the dealer
Please see attached picture and notice what was left in my hood by the mechanic at one of the biggest Lexus dealers in the nation - JM Lexus.
Now the reason I have not opened my hood in a year is because my last oil change was synthetic and I was away for several months and have put very little mileage
At least it matches. I think the water bottle was made with Lexus Nebula Gray paint

Amazing how it stayed there. You never heard any rattling? Or any other noise

That just shows how well Lexus built their cars. U can't even tell there is a water bottle under the hood!

That kind of stuff makes me laugh! Doesn’t matter which dealer you use, people will be people, and we
all make mistakes. Thankfully this one was on the minor side of the scale.

There was a genuine Toyota metal oil filter cup wrench for the cannister filter in the left side of the fron suspension in our GS.

Even during covid, I'm not sure I went a whole year without refilling wiper fluid.

Always check the vehicle after service before leaving.
On my other vehicle the dealer did some AC work and messed up the radio/climate control and cowl cover. I got them to fix them and gladly they came thru.

Wow...That looks like a Large Water Thermos ....
One of the Certified Lexus Tech's left a Snap On Torque Wrench in my Engine Bay after a Filter change.

Lucky that the water bottle is sitting down low enough. I've seen hoods get damaged from tools left in the compartment when the hood is shut. You could have had a water bottle shaped bulge on the hood!
