Clunk from driver right front...solved!
Howdy all,
I bought a 2013 GS F-Sport (Liquid Platinum/Cabernet) from a buddy about a year and a half ago when he bought a new Tesla. It had about 47K miles at the time. It now has 51K. I noticed immediately that it had an annoying clunk from the driver front end, most notable when I drove over small changes in pavement...like from my garage to my driveway, where there is a drop of about an inch. It seemed to be getting worse on a recent trip, so I finally took it in before the extended warranty ran out. I suspected a bad strut, and that was the problem. Its now being repaired under the extended warranty. I searched on here for this problem before I had confirmation of the diagnosis, but didn't see a post blaming a faulty strut for a rattle or clunk. So, if anybody has a clunk from the front...maybe this is your problem...
I replaced the sunroof seal myself...an easy and necessary fix as I had a lot of wind noise with the shade open. Thanks to help on here it was simple and fast.
Also bought a new set of wheels/tires from an '18 F-Sport, as I never liked the wheels that came on the car...or the tires. It had Bridgestone's that were surprisingly noisy. The new wheels came with new Dunlops and are far quieter. The wheels look much better to my eye.

Our '13 GS350 F Sport has a clunk backing out the driveway with the steering wheel cranked all the way. Our driveay is steep...
This only happens when the car is cold; 1st started. Did oyu have any other worn strut symptoms?
I take it the dealer service tech found the problem? Thanks in advance.
We love our GS!

I had the same symptom as Jeff. Mine was a bad LCA. I took it the dealership and they showed me my LCA was cracked and torn. It was leaking too because they are fluid filled I believe. Replaced it with the GSF LCA and no more clunking. You could replaced it the RR LCA or the FIG LCA. I didn't want too harsh and seemed like GSF/RCF bushing would be perfect since they are solid and not fluid filled bushing.
