Default Ml audio system cutting out randomly

Hey guys I’m new here I just bought a 2014 f sport wit 60k miles(loving it btw). I was driving it yesterday and the ml audio made a popping noise and the audio cut out. I restarted the car and the system was working then it did it again after like 5-10 minutes. So if anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate it

Did you happen to have a USB connected in the port located inside the console? The two times that this happened to me both involved my wife "charging" and using her cell phone with cable connected to usb port.. I do not have ML system though...but I have heard that it happens on both ML and base systems

..BTW, you don't have to restart your car to restart the radio. Just press and hold the on off button until the system reboots. You can do this while driving.

I had no clue you could just hold it down to restart it. That helps so much because sometimes my Bluetooth messes up after charging my phone through the USB. +My cars audio sometimes does the same thing when it's plugged in with the USB with the cutting in and out!
