Default Struts!#?@

I've had to change a third strut on my 2013 GS350 AWD F-sport that only has 55k miles on it. Aargh! Does anyone know whether the replacement struts that Lexus is using is different than the original that was used in the 2013 model?

@Neophyte2b let us know what you find. I am going for KYB gas-a-just for the 2 front struts, but can't find anything other than OEM for rear shocks which are way too expensive at Lexus...
I have an AWD F sport as well with AVS.

And to answer your question... there is not really any other than option for AWD struts aftermarket other than KYB which are the same as OEM.

I don't have an AWD or F Sport but have a Luxury Pkg with AVS and I found KYB shocks available. I'm not sure if there there are different shocks used with AVS compatible cars.

KYB makes AVS specific dampers. For RWD 4GS with AVS, you want KYB 7210000 (front right strut), 7210001 (front left strut) and 7240000 (rear shock, either side).

Oh, I found those part numbers. What I was saying was as mine was a RWD w/AVS I was not sure if a AWD F Sport w/AVS used the same part or not as mine.

nope it's not using the same part, if you have rwd it looks like you have options... where as in awd are stuck with OEM for rear shocks it seems...
