Default Tpms

Hey everyone,

First time poster and follower. I just bought a set of wheels for my 2013, aftermarket TPMS sensors. I just drove my car 3 hours round trip interstate. From the videos I’ve seen, that should’ve been enough to re-calibrate, but I’m still getting that stupid light on my dash.

What suggestions does everyone have? Thanks!

If they are none OE sensors. You'll need to have them cloned and you can get that done at a tire shop or nearest auto parts centre near you eg O'Reilly's, Autozone, etc . If they are OEM/Denso sensors you will need to have it registered to the vehicle. Something I recently did using Carista via OBD2.

Also, welcome to the forum

They don't register automatically like the speed based system. The hardware based system (actual sensors) will need to be programmed to the TPMS system. Aftermarket "universal" sensory may need the original codes cloned to the new sensors.
