Default RSR BEST*I ACTIVE COILOVER Question

I was wondering if anyone has this coilover installed and wanted to know how is the ride quality? I hear it may be too soft for some or good enough like stock for others. I'm only planning to lower as much as the preset height or maybe even a little higher depending on how it looks. 2nd question is I'm looking for some pictures of the stock preset height from rsr factory after install. I'm curious to see how low the preset height looks, website says Front is a -1.2 to 1.4in drop as well as the rear but would be awesome if there is some visual pictures but cannot seem to find any.

Model # XBIT175MA

Best coil for the GS.

We're a dealer for RSR and can get you those coils at a good price.

Yea im pretty set on the rsr active coilovers. I don't have a garage so according to the preset height, it should be pretty much where I want the ride height to be at but was interested to see if anyone has the same coils and left it at the preset height so theres some actual pictures. It will just save me some time since I dont have to play around with adjustments, I can just drop them in real quick and be done besides alignment. If i have to adjust then thats fine as well but couldnt find any documentation on the coils

I have had them installed for roughly 3 months. I have them on medium in regards to dampening setting. With the adjustability with the AVS and drive setting I would say they are pretty good comfortability wise. Not stock but close. It does feel soft initially but when you adjust your driving mode it improves. Just a FYI the rears are a pain in the butt to adjust height wise so I suggest triple checking the height before bolting down everything.

that’s good to hear that they are pretty comfortable, this is my first Lexus and I’m not use to having high quality coils, I’m use to harsh ride of bc coilovers with high spring rates and never found them to be comfortable.

yeah I hear with the type of suspension that the gs350 has in the rear makes it a huge pain for sure, that’s why I’ve been curious to see if anyone installed them at the factory preset height? According to their website preset drop it just about as much as a drop as I wanted and would mean I would have to play around without height adjustment

Upgraded from stock struts with RSR super down to Rsr Active coilovers and it is night and day difference. The ride is comfortable but the springs are soft. I have it set to a little higher than my superdowns and it would rub when hitting a bump on the freeway.

The person that sold it to me had told me the shocks were brand new, but when I received them the rears were dead. They said they only drove on smooth and flat surfaces, so I don't know what would have caused them to be blown. The fronts ride perfect. As for the rear..... let's say it's a bounce house lol.

Do you guys happen to sell the rear shocks separately? I know it's a long shot, but I just wanted to ask, so I can replace my blown shock.
